Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library
by Chris Grabenstein
Puzzles and logic, comedy, competition
2013, Random House
Kyle Keeley loves board games, video games, and games of every kind. His favorite games are made by the eccentric and elusive Mr. Luigi Lemoncello, who has just opened up a fantastic new library in Kyle's hometown. Kyle is one of twelve lucky kids picked to have a sleepover in the new library before it opens. But when the library doors refuse to open the next morning, the children find themselves playing one massive game for Mr. Lemoncello's biggest prize yet. Determined to win, Kyle goes on a wild adventure of books, holograms, puzzles, and most importantly, games.
Rated 7+ for mild competition and tension but overall positive themes of teamwork and learning with little to no inappropriate content.
