Harry Potter is a very unusual boy, even if he doesn't know it yet. After his parents died in a car crash that left him with an oddly shaped lightning-shaped scar, infant Harry went to live with his cruel aunt and uncle and their spoiled son. There he lives a miserable life until his eleventh birthday, when a half-giant named Hagrid busts down his door and tells him that he is a wizard and has been invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts Harry makes new friends and rivals, flies brooms, learns spells, and has all kinds of odd magical adventures.
