Trundle is just a lowly lamplighter, living on one of countless floating islands in the sky that make up the Sundered Lands. Trundle is content with a solitary life where his only excitement comes from his books. That is, until he meets Esmeralda, an on-the-run princess who drags him on a journey of flying ships, bloodthirsty pirates, and adventure. Now Esmeralda and Trundle (unwillingly) embark on a fateful quest- to find the fabled Six Crowns of old, which when reunited, it is told, will repair the Sundered Lands and make the world whole again.
